"Kamikaze" by Italian Yamamoto Nutrition® is a food supplement made from the revolutionary CNOP-1™ technology.
CNOP-1™ is short for Concentrated Nitric Oxide Precursor. This is a very special and quite unique ingredient that is characterized by its' different way of both conceiving and promoting the stimulation of nitric oxide (NO) in a stronger and much more long-lasting way than any other product has done before. An official scientific study has been carried out to determine its' effect and potency of this very ingredient.
The research scientists over at the Yamamoto Nutrition® headquarters specifically put their focus upon nitric oxide mechanisms when they formulated the "Kamikaze" pre-workout product. This meant that they strictly included high quality and purity ingredients to make sure that you feel a maximized effect and benefit from them when using the product before your workouts. Their thought processed revolved around how improving the very mechanism of nitric oxide could have great effects on both your growth and recovery. "Kamikaze is simply the pre-workout for anyone who wants more than just a "good pump" - a LOT more!
If we break down the actual ingredients that constitute the "Kamikaze" product, we will find that they are all indeed very valuable and approriately put within the product when wanting to maximize physical performance, muscle pumps, growth and recovery. These are the ingredients that we find in the CNOP-1™:
L-Citrulline: A non-essential amino acid that is widely used as a sports performance and cardiovascular health nutrition supplement. Studies have shown that L-Citrulline supplementation has resulted in reduced fatigue and improved endurance during exercise. One study noted a 40% reduction in muscle soreness during the following two days after a workout when using L-Citrulline acutely pre-workout.
Creatine Monohydrate (Creapure®): A molecule that is capable of rapidly increasing ATP (adenosinetriphosphate) to support cellular function. After being used and studied over many years, Creatine has been widely regarded as being the most triend and true dietary supplement out there to date. It is very well-researched and also remarkably safe for most people to use. Its' mechanism of action can be described in quite a scientific manner, but it is sufficient to say that is primary action within the body is storing certain high-energy phosphate groups as phosphocreatine, which releases energy to help the cells function when they are exposed to stress, i.e. short bursts of high intensity muscle contraction (as done in weight training). With creatine supplementation, this effect causes strength and has also been shown to benefit the brain, bones, muscles and liver. Please note that the most common side effect from creatine - stomach cramps - is caused by an insufficient amount of water being ingested with the creatine. Other side effects such as diarrhea and nausea often only occur when a creatine amount that is too large is ingested at once.
L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine (KyowaQuality®): The 3 branched chain amino acids (BCAA). These account for 35% of the essential amino acids (EAAs) in muscle proteins. L-Leucine in particular plays a very important role in muscle protein synthesis, while L-Isoleucine's primary mechanism of action is inducing glucose uptake into cells. At this point in time, there is not sufficient resarch to fully determine L-Valine's role, but it is relevant to mention that it (alongside the 2 other BCAA's) is part of the total 9 essential amino acids. The number of sports athletes supplementing with BCAAs athletes has been increasing over the years, as more research supports the fact that the actual supplementation of them counteracts the decline of BCAA concentration within the blood, which happens during exercise. The reason why this is a good scenario has a rather scientific explaination, but put as simply as possible, the decline of BCAA concentration within the blood would trigger a certain mechanism within the brain in which a neurotransmitter by the name of serotonin is produced, and this causes fatigue. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, meaning that when they are ingested, they are already broken down and ready to get transported into the bloodstream and counteract a state of catabolism (the breakdown of muscle proteins).
Beta-alanine: The building block of carnosine, a molecule that mainly functions by buffering acid in muscle tissue and thus increases physical performance when exercise is performed within the 60-240-second range. Research has shown that beta-alanine can help increase lean muscle mass gain while carnosine has shown itself to function as an antioxidant as well as an anti-aging compound. Any good pre-workout product contains beta-alanine, simply because the studies done on it are so convincing that it indeed does a great job at enhancing muscular endurance. Many users of beta-alanine have reported being able to perform 1-2 additional repetitions when training within the 8-15-repetition range in the gym. Not only does it enhance muscular endurance in people who perform these shorter burts of intense physical exercise, beta-alanine has also been shown to be able to improve moderate to high-intensity cardiovascular exercise performance, i.e. rowing or sprinting.
Taurine: Taurine is a naturally occuring amino acid that is found in high concentrations within white blood cells, skeletal muscle, central nervous system (CNS) and heart muscle. It also occurs naturally in foods - mostly in meat. It may support mood, aids in muscular contractions and reduces oxidative-damage indued by physical exercise. Furtermore, it has also been shown to aid in both mobilization and oxidation of fat.
L-Tyrosine: An amino acid that the body uses to produce the important neurotransmitters, noradrenaline and dopamine. L-Tyrosine is also one of the total 20 non-essential amino acids that is used the cells of the body to synthesize proteins. The fact that it is non-essential does not mean that it is useless; it simply means that the body is capable of producing it on its' own. In terms of why it could be of potential benefit for athletes, L-Tyrosine is often used to sharpen mental alertness, increase the subjective feeling of well-being and offset both mental and physical fatigue, ie. during hard and heavy training sessions. L-Tyrosine also possesses an anti-oxidant effect, meaning that it helps protect the cell membranes from damage caused by free radicals.
Reduced L-Glutathione (Setria®): One of the most important amino acids for maintaing an optimal health. It is found within every single cell in the body and is critical for preserving cellular integrity. L-Glutathione is in fact often called the "master antioxidant" and is essential for healthily functioning immune system as well as the body's detoxification processes. By taking L-Glutathione, you can help your body maintain optimal levels of this important amino acid and thus support its' process of fighting off oxidative stress for a better overall health. The primary reason Yamamoto Nutrition® put it in "Kamikaze" however, is because of the fact that new research done on males who were already resistance-trained showed that supplementation of L-Glutathione might support the production of Nitric Oxide (NO) when it is combined L-Citrulline (also found within "Kamikaze"), and also help sustain the NO-levels post-workout.
Caffeine: The king of all stimulants. Found occuring naturally in the beans, leaves and fruits of over as much as 60 different plants from all over the world, with the most common source being the coffee plant bean as well as the tea bush leaf. Caffeine has been used widely over the years in supplements intended to help you increase both physical and mental endurance. Caffeine is the main stimulant found within "Kamikaze".
Looking for a pre-workout product that not only ensures you that your energy levels are optimal before your workout but also puts you in the perfect position to obtain a skin-splitting muscle pump when lifting? "Kamikaze" by Yamamoto Nutrition® is your best bet.
